Born in Havana, Cuba, Fidel Morales is one of the most talented and innovative drummer of his generation. Known for his impressive independence skills, Fidel is currently the leader of the Fidel Morales Trio and of Afrocubano, his own Latin Jazz band, as composer, percussionist and drummer. He has also authored several instructional books and videos. Fidel’s work reflects his musical heritage profoundly rooted in the Afro-Cuban tradition.
